![]() I feel like the guy friend is cool too but the best friend character has the tendency to be cliche in a lot of shows so maybe not as much focus? Also the "odd" character figuring out the "normal life" feels overused as well in general. I really like the parents, especially the mom, but would want a little more focus on her. The only thing I'd change would be focusing more on Chrissy and figuring out her family and powers. I love the voice actors, animation, comedy, etc. You can tell, like the beginning of a lot of shows, there still coming into their own and can become much better overtime. I ended up watching all eps in one day and actually liked it. It's genuinely kind of weird and I think if anything their release schedule might get less consistent as they start to focus on bigger games.Being a fan of Rick and morty and animation in general, I've been wanting to try this show for awhile. And the response is still generally people are unimpressed. Then you look at PS5 and you have Demon's Souls, Sackboy's Big Adventure, Spider-Man Miles Morales, Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Returnal, God of War Ragnarok, Horizon and Gran Turismo in the first 2 years. You basically had Infamous, Bloodborne, and the launch titles Knack and Killzone Shadowfall out and that was it. But honestly if you look at the PS4 release schedule around this time, it was absolutely anemic, honestly some of the worst early years for any popular console ever. I think maybe part of the problem is that a lot of these games are for gamers and enthusiasts, so the crossgen release schedule has really knocked the winds out of word of mouth's sails. ![]() Sony has been doing a way, way better job at releasing games consistently, it's probably been the best early lineup of games for them since the PS2. It's interesting because as an outsider looking in I think Playstation 5's release schedule gets a lot of undeserved apathy perhaps. You are definitely right they haven't announced much new since 2020. I can only guess why that is since I'm not into most of their franchises, but it certainly is interesting and I think a lot of it is just the crossgen release strategy.
